This Project came about during the lead-up to my first-ever solo exhibition, just a few months after moving to London in the midst of 2023.
During this time I had been looking for a studio space to create this series and had no budget to finance it, however, I had access to the roof within the apartment so I decided to make do with what I had.
Before this, I was painting in preparation for the event when I spilled paint over a pair of vintage jeans, after the initial frustration I came to realize the paint showed more than just an aesthetic, it highlighted a moment within the painting, that being 'the process itself' something that I often valued more than the product.
This acquisition towards the process prompted a discussion about the wearer's experience, and so I reached out to Bread & Butter a vintage clothing store in Shoreditch' to aid in achieving this concept, they were then able to provide 5 pairs of old-school Dickies & Carhart bottoms that I could rework and present at the art exhibition & B&B stores.

Raw video footage from the documentary of my solo show re-enforces the idea of living within the moment, making the process the artwork.
Not only did I paint onto the clothing but had another creative; Manny, cut shapes from some of my unreleased artwork to be sown in to create more visual diversity.
This exploration of my art within the fashion world has prompted multiple collaborations overseas including (Amsterdam & Las Angeles) with more work currently underway.

After the exhibition, we made one last showcase in store's
(in context to the first 0.35 seconds of the video)
"Moments before walking in to view my artwork up on the racks, I realized one of my paintings had been left on public transport which had just been recently Sold, knowing I or the new owner wouldn't see the piece again, I took a moment to reflect. The collector was given the paintings twin as well as a refund and is ecstatic about their new artwork."
